Expositors Bible respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use the Expositors Bible mobile application.
Expositors Bible is designed to operate primarily on your device. We do not require you to create an account in order to read or study the Bible.
The app may store information locally on your device, including reading preferences, selected Bible edition, theme and font settings, reading position, highlights, notes, saved passages or selections, and other app preferences.
If iCloud synchronization is available and enabled, certain personal study information such as notes, highlights, saved content, or reading data may be stored in your Apple iCloud account. iCloud data is handled through Apple services and is subject to Apple’s privacy practices and terms.
Most Bible and study content included with Expositors Bible can be accessed locally on your device. Certain optional study features may require an internet connection. For example, some Thayer Greek Lexicon information may be retrieved from an external study service when requested.
When such a request is made, technical information normally required for internet communication, such as your IP address, may be visible to the external service provider.
The app may rely on third-party services for certain functionality, including Apple services and external study-resource providers. These services may process information according to their own privacy policies and terms.
Expositors Bible does not intentionally use third-party advertising networks to serve personalized advertisements. We do not sell your personal information.
Purchases of Expositors Bible are processed through the Apple App Store. We do not directly receive or store your full payment card information.
Expositors Bible is not designed to knowingly collect personal information directly from children.
Information stored locally within the app generally remains on your device until you remove it, delete the app, or otherwise clear the relevant data. Information synchronized through iCloud may remain in your iCloud account according to your Apple account settings and Apple’s data-retention practices.
We take reasonable steps to design Expositors Bible in a way that minimizes unnecessary collection of personal information. However, no electronic storage or internet transmission method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
You can control many aspects of your data directly within the app and through your Apple device settings.
We may update this Privacy Policy when features, services, or legal requirements change. Any updated version will be published on this page with a revised “Last updated” date.
